Pro-Drag 8 250mJ is an Eight channel high Output ECU triggered Capacitive Discharge Ignition featuring 160/250mJ switchable spark energy per cylinder, per spark.

This system is preferred in a Land Speed application where the Battery system is a Total Loss (No Alternator). It is capable of 250mJ output up to 12000 rpm on an 8 cylinder engine.

This CDI System has been used to set the World Land Speed Record for a Piston Engine, Wheel Driven Vehicle at 470 miles per hour by the Speed Demon Racing Team.
