Description

Crafted from high quality 6061 Aluminum and with a Black Anodized Finish, our Otto Switch Backshell is a 9/16 (.5625) Inch Thread Diameter and replaces the thin nut typically used to mount these switches which is not only difficult to get a wrench onto to tighten but also fails.

The Backshell can be used in either direction and is threaded all the way through. In this manner, if a boot is not required, it can be used with the 7/8 inch hex away from the switch to provide easier access to tighten the nut when used in a thick steering wheel.

Provides a method for attaching a proper shrink boot and strain relief for the wiring on the switch. Particularly important when mounting on a Steering Wheel.
