Description

This sensor is built into a robust stainless steel enclosure. It is a true laser sensor with a visible red laser dot which can be seen in partial shade. The sensor has no problem with ambient daylight and comes with a digital readout on the outside of the sensor. Its range of measurement is 1.25 inches to 11.8 inches and the output signal 0-5v is configurable to suit the range you intend to measure. Its resolution is around .030 inch. It is powered by 12v and can accept input voltages up to 22 Volts if required. The output update frequency is programmable but comes from the factory with a very high update rate. The output voltage is linear and proportional to the distance measured.
