High Speed, High Temperature Glass Tipped Air Temperature Sensor

With the ability to measure liquids and gases or a mixture of each our High Speed Air Temperature Sensor is extremely versatile. We set out to make a sensor which was compact to fit into tight places, had enough reach to get into the center of the air stream, had the speed of an open tipped sensing element such as the High Speed offering from Bosch, yet have an enclosed tip so that in the event it came in contact with liquid the sensor would not be rendered useless and finally we wanted a high enough range to measure the temperature on a highly boosted non inter cooled racing engine. This sensor has a range from approximately -40C to 300 C (570F). Its response is at least as fast as the Bosch High Speed or GM Open Element type air temperature sensors. It is offered with a nominal 1.375″ reach from the end of the 1/16 NPT thread on its stainless steel body to the glass bead tip at the end of its copper extension Tube. Two 22 awg Tefzel leads wrapped with Diesel resistant heat shrink approximately 12 Inches long extend to the connector which is a  Deutsch DTM04-2P.

Port Temp Sensor Variant

The port temp sensor is the same physical sensor as listed above however the reach is reduced to 1.25 inches nominal from the end of the 1/16 NPT Thread. This sensor was made to be used in the inlet port of 2JZ and other 4 Valve engines where the height of the port is relatively small compared to its width. The mating connector is also DTM06-2S so that its less confusing when plugging in your wiring harness if you also happen to use the High Speed Air Temp sensor listed above. Calibration and measurement range are identical to the sensor listed above (-40 C to 300 C)

10 Bar MAP Sensor

Our 10 Bar Absolute (0-150 PSIA) MAP Sensor is just the ticket for highly boosted racing engines which routinely see more than the standard 6 or 7 bar boost common on today’s drag race engines. This sensor is repeatable and has the range to support most heavily modified and highly boosted engines up to 135 PSI Boost Pressure above atmospheric. The sensor is a stainless steel -3 AN Male fitting meant to be connected to the inlet manifold via a -3 hose to reduce vibration. The voltage output is .5 volts at 0 kpa and 4.5 volts at 1033.5 kpa and it meant for use with a 5 volt reference. This sensor has already been used by top teams in drag racing to set World Records including the Fastest Doorslammer in history and the quickest and fastest Import in history.

Laser Distance Sensor

This sensor is built into a robust stainless steel enclosure. It is a true laser sensor with a visible red laser dot which can be seen in partial shade. The sensor has no problem with ambient daylight and comes with a digital readout on the outside of the sensor. Its range of measurement is 35mm up to 500mm and the output signal 0-12v is configurable to suit the range you intend to measure. Its resolution is around .8mm. It is powered by 12v and can accept input voltages up to 22 Volts if required. The output update frequency is programmable but comes from the factory with a very high update rate. The output voltage is linear and proportional to the distance measured.
