The 5/8 Threaded Magnetic Pickup Sensor is ideally suited as an RPM Pickup sensor reading a ferrous metal target such as our 60-2 Crank Trigger Wheel. The Output Signal is strong enough to allow sufficient gap clearance (.045-.080″) so you don’t experience “Touch Down” of the sensor and trigger wheel even under the stress of 4500 horsepower. We have used this sensor in the field up to 12000 rpm without any triggering problems and has a strong enough signal to be able to start at very low cranking speeds.
