For those who want to unlock the performance potential of MoTeC on the Mercury Racing Outboard platform now, MoTeC have put together an M150-based Development Kit for the 450R and 500R Supercharged V8 Mercury engines. Increased Power and control over the Guardian System are the main benefits.
This Kit provides all the wiring, modules and mounting hardware to switch out the factory ECU, with targeted M1 Packages optimized for Tune 1.5.
Added features include:
- Knock Sensing and Control
- Cruise Control
- Antilag
- Nitrous Oxide Control
- Launch Control – Prop Slip Limiting
- Full Control over Guardian Mode restrictions
Along with fuel, ignition, throttle and drive trim control, this solution also supports other OE ECU features, including:
- Key Start Via OE CAN
- Full dash functionality including warnings and run time for maintenance
- Compatibility with Smart Craft/Vessel View/Garmin Screens
- Integration with multi engine boats via CAN
- Stern Leg Position Monitoring
- Multi Engine Synchronization
Included in the Developer Kit – MoTeC M150 ECU with Targeted Mercury Racing Firmware, LTC Lambda to CAN Module to read factory installed Lambda Sensor, IGN4 Ignitor Module to trigger coils, Relay Kit, Plug and Play Harness to adapt MoTeC M150 to factory loom in place of factory ECU, Bosch Knock Sensor for Onboard Knock Control, related mounting hardware.
The Kit is meant to be installed by one of our staff or a trained technician working with our staff. Requires onsite setup and calibration – billed separately.
